Koba & co

Newcastle upon tyne

april 2021

The barbershop was fully refurbished with first and second fix electrical and plumbing work also completed. The shop has a bespoke curved, latted reception desk with a curved timber top. Complementing this, there is a feature latted wall constructed from blackened timbers and illuminated with green LED strip lighting. There is also new flooring throughout and painting on the walls.

The old key clamp scaffolding work stations were removed and replaced with modern, black stations. There is a hair wash station installed with a built-up floor and a curved divider. This divider is tiled and has curved nosing, with a feature LED edging strip also fitted. In keeping with the colour of the feature wall, there is black timber on the surrounds of the mirrors.

Additional work included newly upholstered seating, a data point installation for the till area, a rear kitchen installation, and a beauty bed for other aesthetic services.

3d design renders

We use lasers to take measurements of the venue so that a computer-aided design (CAD) plan can be generated. Then we either produce a mood board collaboratively with the client, by ourselves, or one can be supplied by the client. After that, a 3D model of the proposed venue can be created that can then be amended slightly by the client before we can start to bring the proposed works to life on site.
